Zelda Jean Anderson, age 58 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born November 22, 1957 to the late James Thomas and Willie Louise Anderson.
A lifelong resident of High Point, Zelda was employed as a CNA for many years. “Big Z” as she was affectionately called, was a member of Baldwin Chapel Seventh Day Adventist Church until her health declined. She enjoyed baking and having fun with her family.
In addition to her parents, Zelda was preceded in by one brother, Charles McLendon and three grandchildren.
Zelda’s love and cherished memories will be missed by her three children, Sonya (Corey) Dessio, Robbin Foust and Brenarda Dick all of High Point; a special niece she treasured like a daughter, Melissa McLendon; one brother, Larry (Denise) Anderson of High Point; four sisters, Sarah (Dale) Coleman, Brenda Kindle, and Pamela Pegues all of High Point and Sandra Bell of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of adorable nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
