Willie Hope Sr

Mr. Willie D. Hope Sr. age 77, affectionately known as "Slick" and "Eff," departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born in Bennettsville, SC to the late Mr. Will D. and Mrs. Blanche Ella Hope.
He later relocated to High Point, NC. He was united in holy matrimony to Katie Brown.
He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories to his beloved wife of fifty years, Mrs. Katie B. Hope of the home; seven children, Pernell (Valeria) Douglas of Winston Salem, NC, Julia Mae LaFlora of Fayetteville, NC, Brenda (Kurl) Kingston of Mount Vernon, NY, George (Julia) Hope of Raleigh, NC, Sharon Douglas, Willie D. (Tammy) Hope Jr. and Tyrone Hope all of High Point, NC; one sister, Mable (Oliver) Burns of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers, W. D. Hope of Asheboro, NC and Douglas Hope of Trinity, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
