Willie Davis, Sr.
April 22, 1946 — August 1, 2014
Mr. Willie Charles Davis, Sr. 68, departed this earthly life on Friday, August 1, 2014, at Hospice Home at High Point. Mr. Davis was born in Dillon, SC to the late Mr. Flemon and Mrs. Thalia Strickland Davis on April 22, 1946. Willie worked as a Upholster for High Point Furniture and Vita Foam. He was also a Licensed Cosmetologist. Willie was a people's person and received friends from all over the town. "Willie C." as he was fondly called was deeply loyal to his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Thalia Mae Davis.
He leaves cherished memories to: his three children, Willie Davis II of High Point, Tosha (Leroy) Tate of Kernersville and Monoleto R. Davis of High Point; sisters and brothers, Flemon Jr. (Clara) Davis and Aaron (Sarah) Davis all of Latta, SC, Mae Williams of Florence, SC, Jerry (Ruby) Davis of High Point, Betty Ladson of Dillon, SC and Brenda (Douglas) Sellers of Rock Hill, SC; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a special great nephew, whom he raised as a son, Dennis Crouch; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
