Vivian Taylor, age 70, of High Point, North Carolina, entered eternal peace with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Hospice Home at High Point.
Vivian was born on June 7, 1953, to the late Earl Frank Thompson, Sr. and Mary Jane Brown Thompson in Dillon, South Carolina.
Vivian relocated to High Point, North Carolina, in 1995 and worked in the textile industry for many years until her health declined. Vivian was baptized January 7, 2001, at Solid Rock Baptist Church where she attended for many years. Vivian was a person who everyone called her "Ma V."
She enjoyed cooking, going fishing, word puzzles, planting flowers and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite vacation place was the beach just to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean sound and view.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Frank Thompson Jr., and her sisters, Connie Thompson and Francis L. Thompson.
Vivian leaves cherished memories to her husband of 52 years, Thomas J. Taylor of the home, six children, Thomas M. (Angie) Taylor of High Point, Tasha D. (Mark) McMillan of High Point, Antonio M. (Doris) Taylor of Rock Hill, SC, Quana Taylor of High Point, Steven V. (Nycole) Taylor of High Point and Amanda K. (Tyrus) Morrow of High Point; two brothers, James W. (Charlene) Brown of Wisconsin and Henry B. Thompson of the home; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two bonus sons, Jerod and Vashon Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, although not named, you were very special to Vivian.
