Tyshawn Leak

DeNorris TyShawn Leak, was born on July 24, 1982 in High Point, NC, the first child of Robin Leak and Anthony McManus.  He departed this life on Friday, July 14, 2017.

TySahwn attended Guilford County Schools.  He was currently employed with Syntec Company.  Known to his family and friends as “Freaky Ty,” TyShawn’s kind and caring spirit brought smiles not only to his family and friends but everyone whom came in contact with him: with his outstanding personality, independence, happiness, and joy.  He considered his children his “bundle of joy,” who was his first love and his everything.

TyShawn was preceded in death by one son, TyLik Leak; his maternal grandparents, Bennie Leak and Mary Ross Sturdivant Leak; aunts, Linda Leak Barringer and Annette McManus; cousin, Ernest Barringer; god-brother, Darrell “Manny Fresh” McCormick.

Those left to cherish his memories and love includes: his mother, Robin Leak; father, Anthony McManus; father figure, Tony Etheredge; children, Tyiesha Leak, LaKirah Leak, DeNorrris Leak Jr., TyRese Leak, E’Shyne Murray and ZiYonna Leak; his siblings, LaTisha Berry, Anthony Franklin, Porscha Leak, Carrie Stafford, Ebony Ethredge and Courtney Ethredge,  all of High Point, NC; nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Franklin, Faleesa, Kaleigha, Natasia, Blake and baby Franklin; uncles, Thomas (Lilly) Leak and Barry Leak; autns, Bennie Mae ((Morris) Dickerson, Mary Leak, Priscilla Bridges, Roeather Leak, Betty Ann (Gus) Robinson, Nettie Ruth (Gary)  Leak and Janice Leak; a host of cousins and other relatives, “his homeboys” and “homegirls,” you know who you are, and he loved you dearly!
