Tyrone Claggett Jr

Tyrone Claggett, better known as “Ty,” departed this life on Friday, April 4, 2025.

He was born August 25, 1968, to the late Clarice Jacks and Tyrone Claggett Sr. in Prince Frederick, MD.

Tyrone was an awesome husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He loved making jokes, laughing, having fun, dancing, and traveling.

We will miss his encouraging words and talks.

In addition to his parents, Tyrone was also preceded in death by one sister, Regina Claggett, and a nephew, Bhilial Lasco.

He leave behind cherished memories to his wife, Latosha Claggett and their two children, Tyler Claggett and baby girl, Brooklyn Claggett; in addition, his three sons and four daughters, Jonathan Boykins, Tyrone Claggett, Tyrik Griffin, Shalonda Blackston, Shinique Jenkins, Kiante Oxendine, and Tyrina Terry; his mother who raised him, Annie Stanback of Rocky Mount, NC; one brother, Keith (Lisa) Lasco of Rocky Mount, NC; three sisters, Sheila Hunter of Prince Frederick, MD, Sheneek (Lawrence) Cooper of Rocky Mount, NC and Jackie of Greensboro, NC; Tyrone also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
