Tony Leak

Minister Tony Leak, age 61 of High Point, NC departed this earthly life on Monday, February 7, 2022. Tony was born in Wadesboro, NC on May 20, 1960, to Emma Jean Leak and William Farris, Sr. “Wookie,” as he was affectionately called by others, was a loving person with a kind spirit. He would always minister wherever he would go, and he never met a stranger. Tony received his ministerial license under the leadership of Pastor Alphonso. Whenever he would feel the holy spirit or get excited, Tony would often do the “boogaloo dance” as he would call it. Minister Tony had a favorite saying, “I don’t have a GED, but I have GOD!” He was preceded in death by three siblings; Ricky Farris, Deborah Farris, and Michael Blakely. He is survived his wife, Elouise Void Leak; his parents, Emma Jean Leak and William Farris, Sr.; two children, Anthony Kashawn Blakeley and Katlyn Leak; two grandchildren; ten siblings; Jesse Farris, Robert Neal, David Farris, William Farris Jr., Gloria (Rosevelt) Martin, Sonya (Roger) Ladder, Tommie Ann (Carl) Jordan, Tracy (Marvin) Hilton, Tim (Sylvia) Jordan and Lisa (Rickey) Lyons; and host of other relatives and friends
