Tony O'Neal Glenn Sr., was born on December 23, 1967, to the late Edward Lee Glenn and Ms. Doris Shaw Glenn in the city of Greer, SC. Tony lost his battle to cancer on July 21, 2024, at the age of 56, at home surrounded by his wife Vanessa Glenn and his daughter Deshjna Brown. Tony attended the WSFCS where he graduated in 1985.
Tony had an extensive work history and was a man of many talents. Tony was ordained as a Deacon in the Lord's Church on July 24, 2022. He was predeceased by his father Edward Lee Glenn, and his brother, Darrin Glenn.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 18 years, Vanessa Glenn of the home, his mother, Doris Shaw Glenn, his brothers, James Glenn (Camille) of Idaho and Warren Glenn (Tessie) of Winston-Salem, his father-in-law, Robert Wilks and a brother-in-law, Troy Wilks, 3 sisters-in-law, Janet Worthy (Griffin), Margaret wilks and Cynthia Wilks, his children, Deshjna Brown of Kernersville, Tony Glenn Jr (Misha),Teron Perry both of Winston-Salem, Anthony Glenn (Kelsey) of the UK, Jasmine Cylburn of Charlotte, NC, 1st Sergent Granville Peay (Samantha) Lawrence Peay (Tashina), Roderick Peay (Shakyia) all of South Carolina, Terica Peay of Albany Georgia, 20 plus grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends and extended family.
