Tony Campbell

Mr. Tony Douglas Campbell 55, of High Point, NC departed this life on February 23, 2022. He was the youngest of eleven children.

He was born December 14, 1966, in Prince George County, Maryland to Willie Lee Campbell and Mattie Mae Campbell.

He was educated in the Guilford Schools System. He attended A &T State University as member of Air Force ROTC. He was employed at High Point Buses, High Point Furniture, and he was also self-employed as an auto mechanic and carpenter. He pitched a dynamic game of horseshoes with his “two-step” toss. Tony was an outstanding dad to his children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Mae and his father Willie Lee Campbell and three brothers, Chris, Luke and Steven.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Arlethea Staton Campbell; his three sons, Antonio Darnell Campbell, Julius Donte Campbell, Jericho Dontevios Campbell; a daughter, Jacques Devon Campbell; fourteen grandchildren; four brothers David Campbell, Michael Campbell (Brenda), Sylvester Campbell, Gene Campbell (Teresa Johnson); three sisters, Latonya Williams (Mack), Debra-Ann Campbell, Towanda (Terry) Hairston and a host of other family members and special friends
