Tommy Alford

Mr. Tommy Alford 61, of High Point,  passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at
Hospice Home at High Point.  He was born October 24, 1951 to Bill Manning and
Martha Alford in Marlboro County, SC.
Tommy relocated to High Point and worked for High Point Chemical Company for 27
years.  He was married to Tamara McFadden.  While he worked hard he also enjoyed
life from watching sports.  His favorites were car racing, basketball and a
dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan.  He loved spending time with his family,
especially his especially his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three grandchildren, Timothy,
Jeniyah and Jaquez Brown.
Tommy is survived by a host of family who will miss him; his wife Tamara
McFadden Alford; children, Angela (Jamal) Alford, Tawana (Willie) Alford
Commander, Cherica Alford, Thomas Alford, Jermaine Alford, all of High Point,
Kierra McFadden, Diamond Bryant, Miracle Alford, Destinee Alford, Sharika
Parker, and Shei-mas McFadden all of the home; two brothers, James Alford of
Sanford, NC and Leroy Alford of McColl, SC; three sisters, Gloria (Luther)
Townsend of High Point, Donella McLeod of McColl, SC and Levonna McQueen of
Lauringburg, NC; five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear
friends although not named you meant alot to Tommy.
