In Loving Memory of Todd Prentice Black
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, God dispatched his angel to receive Todd Prentice Black home. Todd was welcomed into the world on February 2, 1967, in High Point, NC, by his parents, Addie Pearl Williams Black and James Henry Black.
Todd attended Southwest Guilford High School and worked as a sanitation worker for the City of High Point. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was well-known around the city for always bringing joy and laughter to everyone he encountered. Todd was an outspoken person but managed to develop many long-lasting friendships.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Black; his father, James Black and his two sisters, Angelia Black and Alisa Black-Pina.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Tadarius Black and Brandon “Marquez” Black; five grandchildren, Brandon Black, Jahvion Black, Jalaiya Black, Quaeyona Herring, and Tayor Henry; three nephews, two nieces, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and our entire Williams and Black family members. A special shoutout to his brother-in-law, Richard Pina for his help and support during Todd final days.
