Timothy Commander

On March 6, 1974, the body and soul of Timothy Dewayne Commander was welcomed into this world by his parents Clifton Commander Jr. and Maggie Lee Commander. Thursday, October 2, 2014, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ welcomed Timothy Dewayne Commander into his heavenly home.

Timothy was a devout Christian, he loved the Lord, and was a true prayer warrior!  He was a faithful and dedicated member of Calvary Covenant Fellowship Church. Timothy was a loving father, son, brother and uncle, his family and friends will miss him dearly.

His former employers were Hoffman Koos Home Furniture and Leggett and Platt. He enjoyed listening to music and watching football. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Maggie Lee Commander and a son, De'Andre Clark- Commander.

Timothy leaves behind his beloved father, Mr. Clifton Commander Jr; his children, Timothy Commander Jr, Da'Niyah Commander, Deon'Tae Commander, Madyson Commander, and Demetrius Clark whom he raised; three sisters, Cynthia Commander and Theresa Commander both of High Point, NC and Margaret White of Archdale, NC; three brothers, Gregory Commander, Kevin Commander, and Christian Harris all of High Point, NC; two nieces and a nephew who were raised as siblings, Aarisha (Brandon) Peat, Chantel Commander and Carleus Commander all of High Point, NC; aunts, Jessie Galloway, Mary Bethea, and Barbara Grace; one uncle, Jule Burns; two special friends, Antonio Thomas and Timothy Ervin; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
