Mr. Tiemeyer Burris

January 2, 1983 — January 22, 2023

Tiemeyer Deron Burris, age 40 of High Point, NC went to be with his Lord on January 22, 2023, in a horrific traffic accident. Tiemeyer was born January 2, 1983, in Millington, MD to Alonza C. Burris, Jr. and Chavelle Wise.

He spent part of his childhood in Maryland and then relocated with his mother to Durham, NC.

Tiemeyer attended the public schools in Durham, NC with his family and friends. Also, in his early years he lived with his aunt and uncle, Diane and Charles Council.  He later relocated to High Point, NC where he got his GED and took Aviation classes at Guilford Technical Community College.  He worked on various jobs and his last employment was with Flowers Bakery. Tiemeyer enjoyed sports, and people especially children; they looked up to him as an uncle. He was a well-rounded person and very respectful.  He was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed cooking, a talent he received from his parents.

Tiemeyer was preceded in death by his father, Alonza C. Burris, Jr.; paternal grandparents; Alonza C. Burris, Sr. and Olivia Wilson; maternal grandparents, Chancey P. Wise and Dorothy Hart Wise; an aunt and uncle who helped to raise him, Diane and Charles Council; in addition to uncles, Leander Clay, Jr., and Marvin Burris and an aunt, Anne Lee Woodard.

He leaves to mourn his memories to his mother, Chavelle Wise of

High Point, NC, the love of his life Erika Williams: two sons he thought of his own Armonie and Jahmarian Williams; aunts, Thelma Wilson, Phyllis Ozene, Doretha Burris, Charlotte Clay, Dorothy Clay, Mamie (Larry) Beal and Geraldine Crawford; uncles, Claude Burris, Arthur Clay, Chauncey Wise, Jr.; Stephen and Lawrence Duff; a special friend, like a sister, Nicole McElveen; his cousins that were raised as siblings Tia, Melissa, Lakisha, Charstina, Charles, Jr. and Joshua: three special friends; Tito Jenkins, Chris Evertte and John Medley.
