Mr. Terry Lee Kindle, 67 was called to his final resting place on December 1, 2013 at Westwood Rehab. Center.
He was born on February 23, 1946 in High Point to Gracie Hood and Thelmo Kindle.
Terry attended William Penn High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army specializing in Engineering. He was a man of many trades. He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, houses and appliances. Last but not least teaching his children and grandchildren life lessons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother, Jonny Kindle; one sister, Kaylavern Allen and Marilyn S. Greene.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Brenda Kindle of the home, 11 daughters, Sonata, Amaru, Asavi, Aleph, Anonyma, Anyon, Azjuana, Amera Akiera, Louise and Brenda; 7 sons, Tony, Michael, Chris, Ameir, Aharam, Akete and Akwa; 11 siblings and close cousin, Angela McIntyre; 51 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Kindle truly leaves behind a legacy.
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at Baldwin Chapel Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1200 Leonard Ave.
Visitation will begin at 10:30am at the church. Burial will be held in Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.
