Stephanie Elizabeth Long Blakney, 54, peacefully transitioned from her earthly home into her heavenly home on May 16, 2020 at Hospice Home at High Point.
Known by many as "Lil Mama" and "Stuff" was born on December 25, 1965 to Luther N. and Elizabeth A. Watkins Long.
Stephanie graduated from Thomasville High School upon receiving her high school diploma, she later furthered her education and receiving her credentials as a CNA through Davidson County Community College. She was faithful employee at Libertywood Nursing Home for 37 years, where she loved her patients and would take very good care of each and every one of them.
"Stuff" enjoyed dancing, singing and spending time with her family, she had a special love for people.
Stephanie was a active mother of her church of Pneuma Pentecostal Church of Deliverance, under the leadership of Apostle Faye D. Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents
Those left to cherish precious and fond memories are her beloved husband; Gary Blakney; her children; Laquanza (Michael) Long; Marquita Long and Quentin (Lakisha) Long; two grandchildren; Marquise Long and Qay'ceon Long whom she loved dearly. Siblings; Cynthia Long, Barry Long, Deanna Long, Veronica (Raymond) Brown, Bridgette Long, Anthony (Tasha) Long, Ina Barnes, Angela Holmes and Belma Stevenson, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, god children and other relatives and friends.
