Shaymia Anjileek Baxter was born in High Point, NC, on August 9, 1992, to Angie L. Kennedy and Preston M. Baxter.
Shaymia lived in Thomasville, NC, where she attended Thomasville City Schools and graduated from Thomasville High School in 2012. After graduating high school, she worked various jobs throughout her life.
She was a loving, caring and devoted mother, daughter, sister, nieces and friend. Her smile, warm spirit and infectious laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shaymia's earthly life came to a close on Monday, April 8, 2024, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosa M. Kennedy, Camilla Washington and Theodore Baxter, her brother, Justin A. Tillman and aunt Geneva M. Kennedy.
Shaymia is survived by both parents, Angie L. Kennedy of the home and Preston (Daisy) Baxter of Thomasville, NC, her 5 beautiful children; Justin Thomas, Tristan Thomas, Goddess Baxter, Italy Bennett and Ka'Zyon Fuller of the home. Her 8 siblings; Malachi Williams, Kandice Baxter, Katrena Green, Jada (Emmitt) Baxter, Ke'Shawn Baxter all of Thomasville, NC, Natoshia Williamson of Lexington, NC, Antonio (David) Baxter pf Brooklyn, NY and Timothy Ragin of Summerton, SC; her grandfather, Samuel "Bubba" Kennedy of Thomasville, NC, her bonus grandmother, Martha Ruff whom she called Granny Mot of High Point, NC, her god-parents; Archie Roberts and Fran Caraway, her god-brothers; T Jefferies and Ethan Caraway, her bonus siblings, Amari Green, Naylie Green, Harmani Green, Brittany Green and Vinson Green all of Thomasville, NC, her special aunts, Alecia Booker of Hinesville, GA, Barbara Kennedy of Atlanta, GA, Rosa (joseph) Kennedy of High Point, NC and Patricia Kennedy of Greensboro, NC and a very special uncle, Jerrod Kennedy. Her loving and special friend, Jeffery Thomas and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
