Sharquittie “Quay” Hanna was welcomed into this world November 25, 1997, in Florence, SC, to Darlene Graves and Roger Hanna. On Thursday, August 13, 2020, Quay departed this earthly life and gained eternal life in heaven. She graduated from UNCG Middle College in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a person who bravely endured the ups and downs of her health, Quay was a full-time student at Guilford Technical Community College. She was enrolled as a business student. Quay had a beautiful personality. She was ambitious and had a passion for learning, achievement, and higher education. Quay was the ultimate gift to her mother and her siblings. The love Quay had throughout her life is something we can all only strive to achieve. She will always be treasured in hearts. Her love, joy, and determination will be remembered by: her loving mother, Darlene Graves of the home; her father, Roger Hanna of Johnsonville, SC; her siblings, Roger “C.E.” Graves, Joseph McCray, Jaquan Lewis, and Nala Hanna all of the home; uncles, Rickey Graves, William (Linda) Graves, Tony (Samantha) Lewis, Robert Lewis, Reverend Michael Hanna and Reverend James Hanna; aunts, Loraine Barr and Martha Hanna; special cousin, Robin Barcus; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
