Samuel Robinson

A Memorial Service Will Be Held At A Later Date

Samuel Robinson, age 76, was born on November 23, 1944 to the late Sam and Avella Ballard Robinson in Burgaw, NC.  Samuel was educated in the Pender County school system.

At an early age, he moved to Brooklyn, NY and made it his home.  In 1968, he joined the US Army and was in the Vietnam War.  In May of 2012, he relocated to High Point, NC.

He was a funny, loving, and compassionate man and father. He loved to fish, listen to his music and sports.

In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Lilly Robinson; brother, Malachi Ballard and sister Virginia Robinson.

Samuel leaves to cherish: two sons, Samuel Robinson, Jr. of High Point, NC, Clifford Lilly of High Point, NC; four daughters, Soterica Robinson Dixon, Creshendle Robinson both of High Point, NC, Samantha Robinson of Orlando, Fl, Sade Robinson of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren; Zaire Ingram, Juan Dixon and Skye Robinson all of High Point, NC; one sister, Lela-Mae Robinson of Burgaw, NC; a host of nieces, nephews and a special friend, Amy; other relatives and friends.
