Rosa Mae Kennedy

Mrs. Rosa Mae Green Kennedy, age 74, of Thomasville, NC, departed this earthly life on Monday, September 28, 2020 at her residence. She was born to the late Rosetta Andrews Green and Morris Green on May 4, 1946, in Sumter County, SC. She was employed with Thomasville Furniture Industry for many years. She was married to Samuel Kennedy.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: one daughter, Mary G. Kennedy; three siblings, Richard Green, Robert Sutton and Dorothy Mae Green; one grandson, Justin A. Tillman; and two aunts, Camilla Gibson and Lorena Johnson.She leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, Samuel Kennedy of Thomasville, NC; six children, Rosa K. (Joeshan) James of High Point, NC, Barbara Kennedy of Atlanta, GA, Angie Tillman of Thomasville, NC, Alecia Booker of Savannah, GA, Patricia Kennedy of Greensboro, NC, and Samuel Kennedy, Jr., of Thomasville, NC; one half brother, William Johnson of Lexington, NC; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Queen Kennedy of High Point, NC and Annie Mae Billups of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, James King of High Point, NC, John (Janice) Edward Andrews of Columbia, SC, and William Green of Tampa, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
