On November 24, 2008, Mrs. Rosa Lee Johnson Williams departed this earthly life. She was born on August 16, 1931, to the late Elder Jerome and Mrs. Irene Cooper Johnson, Sr., in Darlington, SC. Mrs. Williams was lovingly known as "Hun."
She was a resident of High Point, NC for 49 years and was married to the alate Mr. Levi Williams. Mrs. Williams was a retiree of Myrtle Desk. She was a member of Miracle Temple Holiness Church where she served as a Church Mother.
Her husband, one son; Lawrence l. Davis; a great grandson, Michael A. Rogers; two brothers, Jerome Johnson, Jr., and Nathaniel Johnson, all precedes her in death.
Leaving to cherish her memories include two sons, Michael A. Davis and Robert A. Davis both of High Point, NC; two daughters; Ernestine Rogers and she reared Melissa (Bobby) Hunter both of High Point, NC; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great great grandson; three brothers; Booker T. Johnson of High Point, NC, Talley (Geraldine) Johnson of Spartanburg, SC and Edward Johnson of High Point, NC; two sisters; Ruth (Fleek) Simmons and Irene (Elder Calvin T.) Smith both of High Point, NC; one special nephew she considered a son; Johnathan (Shirley) Johnson; six godchildren; James Garrett, Victoria Garrett, Timothy Garrett, Darryl Garrett, Jerome Garrett and Betty Bailey; a host of other relatives and many kind friends.
