Ronnie L. Staton, was born on November 22, 1955, to John Peguese and Nellie Staton in Marlboro County, South Carolina. he was called to rest on Thursday, August, August 26, 2004, at High Point Regional Hospital.
For 15 years of Ronnie's life, he was employed as a truck driver for BFI and was experienced in auto mechanics. Throughout his life, Ronnie touched the lives of many people, young and old. Ronnie is a graduate of High Point Central High School. He was a loving person who enjoyed family life. We shall never forget that smiling face and his words of wisdom. His mother, a sister, Brenda Peguese and a grandmother, Bernice Deberry, all precedes him in death.
Leaving to cherish his memory, his father and stepmother, John and Izoro Peguese of High Point, NC, three daughters, Avis Terry, Candice Staton both of Greensboro, NC and Daffney Makiupson of Thomasville, NC, two sons, Ronnie Staton Jr., and Anthony Staton both of Greensboro, NC, five brothers, Johnny Peguese, Rodney Peguese, Ned Peguese, Benjamin Peguese all of High Point, NC and Roy Staton of Tiffany, OH, five sisters, Bridgett (Elijah) Marshall, Sharon (Ricky) Patrick, Cheryl Peguese all of High Point, NC and Cathy and Connie Staton both of Bennettsville, SC, three grandchildren, a special friend, Denita Floyd of High Point, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
