Robert Bacote

Robert Andre Bacote, Jr., age, 19, departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Thursday, May 13, 2021, in Greensboro, NC.

Robert Jr., known as "Mookie," was born March 5, 2002, in High Point, NC to October Maraine Marsh and Robert Andre Bacote.

Robert attended High Point Central High School and later transferred to Rowan Cabarrus Community College and received his diploma.

Robert never met a stranger; his jokes and silly mannerisms would make anyone laugh. He loved to shop for sneakers, and he always showed his parents love.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Whitley Marsh. Robert leaves to cherish his memories to his parents, October Maraine marsh and Robert Bacote (Regina Jacobs), all of High Point, NC, Paternal grandparents, Barbara and Fred Bacote, both of High Point, NC, Maternal grandfather, Leon Marsh, Sister, Emma Jahayla Cook (Derrick Shipman) of High Point, NC, Brothers, Eric Green of High Point, NC, and malik Jacobs-Bacote of High Point, NC, Fiancé, Azana Pill; Aunts, Lois, Molly Faye Whitley, Arlesa Whitley,  Rosalind Hoover, and Delphine Marsh, Uncles, Warnella "Buck" Whitley, Samuel Whitley Jr., Jimmy Witherspoon, Preston Tinnin and Leo Marsh. Special friend, Damion Crouch; Godmother, Bianica Nelson; Special cousin, Zee Oliver, and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
