Mr. Richard Archie was born in High Point, NC on August 29th 1951 to the late Mrs. Mary Abney Archie and Mr. Eugene James Archie on 907 Hoover Street. He made his transition and received his wings on October 23rd 2022. He also attended William Penn High School. He loved the Gospel, and was raised up at Temple Memorial along with his brothers and sisters as kids with the guidance of Mrs. Mary Abney Archie, his mother and Mr. Mott Abney, his grandfather. Richard was an admired father, grandfather, great grandfather. He was one of the Koolest and smoothest Uncles better known as Uncle Richard. The whole family were legends. He relocated to New York at 16 years old and moved back to High Point at 61 years old.

FOR ME
A smile for me I give back a wink
A song for me which one let me think
A hug for me. Family do not depart
A testimony for me, bring it from the heart
A tear for me, shed with joy
A prayer for me, God’s love is forever more
Remember me, for my spirit is with you
Continue to love one another
Show that your love for me is true
