Rhonda Denise Grace, 56, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital. God sent his Angel from Heaven to ease her pain and suffering.
Rhonda or “Gail” as she was affectionately known to family and friends was born on August 20, 1957 in High Point, a daughter of James Grace Sr. and Mary Frances Sellers Grace.
Gail resided in High Point all of her life and graduated from High Point Central High School in 1975. She was an active participant on the basketball and softball teams.
She was employed in the Hosiery Mill Industry most of her life.
Gail was a great friend, confident, provider, mother, sister and a FAITHFUL BELIEVER IN THE LORD. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and served faithfully on the Pastor’s Aide Committee and helped even during her declining health.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Mary Frances Sellers Grace; one brother, James "Mookie" Grace.
She leaves to cherish loving memories a daughter, Latoya L. Grace; two step-sons Clinton Haywood III and Willie “Trey” Braswell; four grandchildren, Jeffrey “Donte” Ingram, Jaquarius “Jock” Ingram and Jyree Ford and Amori Ford all of the home; one niece, Shernika McInnis of the home; step-father Sam B. Eaddy of High Point; one brother, Charles (Treva) Grace of High Point; three sisters, Brenda Grace, Angela Grace all of High Point and Sandra Grace and fiancé (Bryan Hill) of Greensboro; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends; special lifelong friend, Richard Crouch.
Funeral services will be 2:30pm, Sunday, March, 23, 2014 at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 2:00pm at the church. Entombment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
