Mr. Ravon D. Jones, 36, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, in Victorville, CA. He was born to the late Gary B. Jones and Lydia L. Griffin on March 25, 1978, in High Point, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary B. Jones; his maternal grandfather, Jesse H. Littlejohn; paternal grandmothers, Willie Jones and Addie R. Johnson; cousins, Latisha Littlejohn and Steveland Gillespie.
He was educated in the High Point City School System. His favorite sports to play were football, basketball, and wrestling.
Ravon was a loving son, brother, and father. He leaves to cherish his memories; his children, Ravon D. Jones, of Greensboro, NC and Ravon D. Jones of High Point, NC; his mother, Lydia L. Griffin of High Point, NC; sister, Yonkisha Jones of High Point, NC; brother, Malachia Jones of Badin, NC; maternal grandmother, Betty J. Littlejohn; a host a aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be 12:00pm, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 11:30am at the church. Burial will be in Carolina Biblical Gardens.
