Prentiss Breeden

Prentiss L. Breeden, age 52, departed this life on August 9, 2019.  He was born on September 9, 1966 in Clio, SC, the son of Annie Doris Breeden and Prentiss Lucas.  He graduated in from Clio High School, class of 1984.

He later relocated to High Point, NC was employed by High Point Chemical, Marlowe Van Loan and Lily Industries.

Prentiss was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Wesley and Odessa Breeden whom reared him from a child; also, his paternal grandparents, Watt and Carrie Lucas.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife and best friend of 31 years, Flora Ingram Breeden of the home; two “daughters” Natasha Ingram Thompson (Joseph) and Shamara Dimery of High Point, NC; his mother, Annie Doris Watson of Blenheim, SC; father, Prentiss (Ella Mae) Lucas of Latta, SC; four grandsons to whom he was lovingly known as “Papa” James of the home, Davion, Chancee and Levi; mother-in-law, Lillian Ingram of High Point, NC; maternal aunts and uncles, Helen Alston, James Wesley (Miriam) Breeden and Ronnie Breeden, Mary Frances McCoy and Gloria Terry, Peggy (Willie) Hayes; and Wanda (Donald) Poirer; paternal aunts and uncles, Ella Mae Lucas Dilligard, Willie Mae Lucas McCrae, Paul (Gloria) Lucas, Charles Lucas, Joseph Lucas and Perry Lucas; brothers-and sisters-in law; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
