Phyllis Lindsay

Phyllis Ann Lindsay, 49 of High Point, departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her residence. She was born to Mr. Edward and Mrs. Josie Lindsay. A lifelong resident of High Point, Phyllis graduated from High Point Central High School, class of 1984. She was employed with Guilford County Schools until her health declined and a former employee with Kmart Corporation. Phyllis was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by both of her maternal and paternal grandparents and three uncles. Phyllis leaves to cherish memories to her children, Candace Lindsay, Martika Pate and Dante Pate all of High Point; her loving father and mother, Edward and Josie Lindsay of High Point; two sisters, Linda Lindsay and Delores (Maliki) Hamani all of High Point; three brothers, Johnnie Deberry, Edward Lindsay Jr. both of High Point, and Johnny (Brenda) Townsend of Morven, NC; five grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
