Peggy Rorie

Peggy Ann Rorie was born on March 9, 1957, in Laurinburg, North Carolina, to the late James Thomas Rorie and Elizabeth David Rorie.

Her earthly journey came to completion on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, after a brief period of declining health, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Peggy’s greatest attributes was her love for God, her willingness to serve and tell everyone she encountered about the goodness of the Lord.

Peggy worked many years as a CNA and for Service Master during the furniture market of High Point. She was affectionately known for her great love and ability to care for others. It always brought her joy to love on her family and most importantly her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Kimberly Dickey (Micheal), Taneshia Rorie and Sharmainia Marshall (Keeny) all of High Point, NC; eight granddaughters, Lathesharee (Cory), Quadasha, Mikayla, Micah, Ashley (Ronnie), Jakiyah, Indya and Audrey, one grandson, Ke'ondre; ten great grandchildren; also to cherish her memories are five sisters, Patty, Jackie, Elaine, Valerie and Angela; two brothers, Jimmy (Deanna) and Kajuane and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friend, Karen "Neese" Gidderon, a bonus dad, Robert Martin and bonus granddaughter, Tierra Royal along with two bonus great grands.
