Pearlie Smith Hawkins

Mrs. Pearlie Smith Hawkins, age 72 passed away on May 14, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital. 

Born April 7, 1946, in Maxton, NC. She worked at Silver Knit and High Point University.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Hawkins Jr., her son; James David Smith, a daughter; Mary Alice Jackson, her grandchildren, Jermaine Covington, James Covington and Veronica Smith, Stepmother, Eunice Smith, sisters; Dorothy Smith (Knox) Quick and Katie Hope of High Point, NC, Two brothers; Edmond Smith and James Smith both of Baltimore, Maryland and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Pearlie was preceded in death by her parents; Douge and Geneva McIntyre Smith, her siblings; Douglas Smith, James Smith, William Smith, Bobby Smith, Leonard Smith, Nezell Smith, Andy Smith, Jennie Johnson, Betty Leak and a baby sister.
