Pastor Thomas Marshall

Pastor Elder Thomas E. Marshall, age 67, departed this earthly life on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and expectant great grandfather. Pastor Elder Marshall was born on January 17, 1957, in High Point, North Carolina, to the late Bishop Robert Thomas Marshall and Helen Peguese Marshall. Thomas was united in marriage on July 4, 1978, to Alice Chapman Marshall in High Point, where they raised their family. He worked for Guilford County Schools until his retirement, and he was the Pastor of Friendship Holiness Church for eleven years. Pastor Marshall was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Melvin Marshall. Pastor Marshall leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 46years, Alice “Tina” Marshall of the home; children, Tony Chapman of Raleigh, NC, Timothy Chapman, Shontella Marshall, and Alicia Marshall, all of High Point, NC; two brothers, Robert Marshall of High Point, NC, and Warren (Denise) Marshall of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Patricia (Kenney) Dumas of Thomasville, NC, and Barbara Steele of High Point, NC; nine grandchildren; special friend, Wayne “Pap” Little; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and the community churches.
