Nettie Reid

Mrs. Nettie B. Reid, daughter of the late Willie B. and Donnetta Nicholson, was born in Hoke County on July 18, 1955. Mrs. Reid attended Hoke County high School. She was self-employed for many years in the childcare occupation and lovingly served as a foster parent for years. She confessed her life for Christ at an early age. She joined Center Grove Missionary Baptist, through life, she was also a member at Brown New Calvery Baptist Church and currently at Life Changing International Church.

On December 31, 1974, she united in holy matrimony to the Russell W. Reid and to that union, two children were birthed.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearlie Whitworth and Mable Jane Nicholson, Two brothers, Baby Nicholson and Donnie B. Nicholson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her daughter, Phenecia Reid, One son, Russell Reid II, both of High Point, NC, One sister, Marcella Ervin of Raeford, NC, three brothers, Artie (Shirley) Nicholson of High Point, NC, willie A. and Connell Nicholson, both of Red Springs, NC, Two grandchildren, Amani Williams and Aliyah Withers of High Point, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
