Minister Cynthia Ann Richards was born on August 21, 1950 in High Point, NC. She was the daughter of the late Catherine Moore.
Cynthia departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
Cynthia received her formal education in the public schools of Guilford County, NC. She worked for Thomasville Furniture Company for many years. “Ann” as she was affectionately called was married to Edward Richards. She received her minister’s license at Resurrection Christian Center under Pastor Clinton Campbell where she served faithfully under his guidance for 15 years. She was a former member of Living Water Baptist Church for 7 years.
Cynthia was a spiritual person and a true friend. She would tell you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not. She showed her love to others by giving them scriptures of encouragement. She was known for sharing her beautiful smile with others and she will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memories include: her devoted husband of 31 years of the home, Minister Edward Richards; daughters, Liyah, and Soriyah of the home, Chenita Pratt of Kenersville, North Carolina, Delores Mitchell of High Point, North Carolina, Tina (Adam) Powe of Asheboro, North Carolina, and Johnsiner Mock of Charlotte, North Carolina; three sons, Tavis (Beverly) Neal of Greensboro, North Carolina, Edward Mock, Jr., of Statesville, North Carolina, and Willie Edward Dawkins of South Carolina; one brother, Timothy Neal of Greensboro, North Carolina; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; outstanding and loving in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
