Michelle Rivers

On Friday, March 20, 2020 our earthly angel, Michelle Sherron Rivers, age 23, joined the heavenly angels.  She transitioned at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem.

Michelle, affectionately known as “Smush was born on August 30, 1996 to Michelle Denise Lyles and Terron Rivers.  A resident of High Point all her life, Smush graduated from Ledford High School, class of 2015.  She furthered her education at Guilford Technical Community College and received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Michael Williams; great grandparents, Hardie and Catherine Rivers, James and Doris Lyles and Louise Williams.

Left to cherish her memories include, Terron (Candice) Rivers; mother, Michelle (Carlos) Lyles; brothers, Deshawn Lyles and T.J. Rivers; sisters, Sheratenn Rivers and Chloe Rivers; grandmothers; maternal, Pertrenia Lyles and paternal grandparents, Prelle Tucker and Gaines (Pam) Rivers; great grandfather, Henry Williams; special friend, James Butler; special nephew Jayden Rivers; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
