Micheal McLaurin

Micheal Gerald McLaurin aka Money Mitch was born on September 30,1999 to Mary Elizabeth Moore and Richard Gerald Moore. He departed his life on March 25, 2024.

As a child he attended Greater New Hope Baptist Church. He was educated in the High Point school system and received his diploma from Cornerstone Christan Correspondence School.

Micheal spent his early childhood in Bennettsville, SC where he started right out being spoiled by his grandma Delois. He is the baby and they treated him that way. As he got older, he enjoyed having his own space where he was very neat and clean. He loved to get dressed to take pictures and record videos. He was the life of the party where he would always sing, laugh, and dance. He was always happy to be around his family.

He had a special love for his children. Malachi is a spitting image of his dad, Norielle is his princess, Noah is little man who he loved all dearly.

He shared a special bond with his siblings. Quan, who he wanted to be like so much. He would always say “you the big brother and I’m the little brother!” Big sister, “SiSi” that he always called his twin. He loved to be around all the time. Nel was his turn up partner always ready to dance with her baby brother, Nise was always there for him, Kristy is the big sister and wears her title proudly. Last was his little big sister Alexis who he could count on to help him with anything that would make him a better person and she was always ready to cook him a plate of food.

He had a special bond with his dad where they would have one on one conversations about anything, no matter what time it was. They were more than just father and son, they were friends.

His mom was his best friend, they loved to sing, dance, laugh about anything. He could always count on her to be there for him when he needed her. She loves all her children, but everyone knew that Mike was her baby.

Micheal was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Clara Moore; maternal grandfather, Bobby McLaurin and one cousin, Sylvester McLean.

Micheal leaves protection and cherished memoires to his children, Malachi, Norielle, and Noah; his parents, Richard and Mary Moore; siblings, Kristy (Antuan) Johnson, Sierra McLaurin, Chanise Grant, Chanel Grant, Richard (Jasmine) McLaurin, Alexis McLaurin, nieces and nephews Jazir, Yaheim, Richard, Miyanna, Santana, Brandon, Malaya, Jala; grandmother, Delois Whitworth; special cousin, Justine Dixon. He also leaves special friends, Morgaine Henderson and Andrea Townsend in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, little nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
