Maurice St. Germain

July 8, 1951 — February 20, 2010

Gene entered into his peaceful rest on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center; he fought a good fight against cancer for one year.

Gene relocated to High Point, NC in the year of 1989, from Florida. He arrived at Mary Keck Home in High Point, NC, in a blue truck

Maurice Eugen St. Germain was born to the late Maurice Eugene St. Germain on July 8,1951, in Opa Locka (Dade) in Florida. In addition to his parents, one sister, Judith Ann (Wilson) St. Germain preceded him in death.

Gene came to know the Lord under the leadership of Pastor Phillip Biggs. Gene St. Germain gave his heart to the Lord in 1989 and in September 10,1989 became an active member was Baptism, July 2, 1995, served on the Deacon Board, 15 years served the "Bus Ministry," The N.C. Food Bank thru the church and active in "The Men's Group" under the leadership of Brian Biggs and Adam Johnson.

On June 7, 1992, he married the love of his life, Cynthia "Cindy" Marsh, at the Spirit of Life Ministries. To this union included Jamie Ryan West.

Gene loved God and his church family and wanted the will of God to be done in his church.

He leaves to celebrate his life a loving wife of 171/2 years, Cynthia "Cindy St. Germain and stepson, Jamie West, brother-in-law, Gary (Patty) Wilson, niece, Jeanette (Raymond) Polansky, great niece, Amanda Polansky, great nephew, Kyle Polansky and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Special person that was in Gene's life was Mary "Mom Keck and Mary's son, John Keck and his devoted church family and friends.

Gene graduated from Douglas McArthur High School in Florida and attended Apex Technical Institute where he completed Automotive Course.

During his career, gene was employed with Leggett & Platt for 7 years as a machine operator, he later went on to work as a self-employed "Mechanic: at O'Neal Auto Sales and Salesman and part-time for High Point Furniture, NC as a furniture delivery service.
