Mrs. Mary Helen Oxendine, 92 of High Point passed away on Sunday, February 16,
2014 at her residence. She was born September 13, 1921 to Jimmy and Flora
Locklear in Robeson County, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Woodrow Locklear and
Clinton Oxendine; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by six sons, Willie Oxendine of Thomasville, Jessie (Geraldine)
Oxendine of High Point, Benson (Barbara) of Winston Salem, C.B. (Jennifer)
Oxendine of Reidsville, Vance Oxendine of Clemmons and Jimmy Oxendine of
Madison; one daughter, Geraldine Oxendine of Winston Salem; two brothers, James
A. (Lisa) of Lumberton, NC and D.L. (Doretta) Locklear of Maxton, NC; one
sister, Evelyn Oxendine; 27 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and
other relatives.

Visitation will be 6pm-8pm, Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at People's Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Whitehill Church in
Pembroke, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
