Mary Manning

Mrs. Mary Manning, 77 of High Point was led by an angel to seat around God’s throne on Saturday, August 31, 2019.  She transitioned at Hospice Home at High Point.
She was born on August 24, 1942 in Bennettsville, SC to the late Tommy and Mollie Johnson Quick.
Mary was employed with Samples Inc. for many years until her health declined. She was member of Living Water Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother and one sister.
Those left to cherish her memories includes: her daughter and caregiver,  Carolyn Denise Quick of the home; two sons, Ricky (Crystal) Quick and James (Gloria) McCullough all of High Point, NC; three grandchildren that she raised; Tyrone, Ricco and her baby Jason Jahmal; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three special great grandsons Jaquenza “Juicy”, Sencer and Messiah; two brothers, James Quick of High Point, NC and Tommy Thomas of Bennettsville, SC; one sister, Gladys (Lee) Stanton of Bennettsville, SC; one aunt, Sara Quick of Bennettsville, SC; two god-daughters, Trina Morrison and Betty (Thomas) Warren; a special friend, Dorothy Medley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
