Mary Ann Carter, 67, of a native of Washington, DC passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was January 19, 1949 to the late Rose Tibbs Carter and William H. Carter.
Mary, affectionately known as “Peaches” to most was a graduate from Frances High School in Washington, DC. While living in Washington, DC she was employed with the Federal Trade Commission National Achieves as a security officer. Officer Carter loved her profession.
Peaches was a very joyous, fun, and loving person who will be remembered by many. A devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Peaches also enjoyed cooking, laughing, and playing the lottery.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ida M. Carter and brother, William H. Carter.
Peaches leaves to cherish her memories to her three daughters, LaShawn (Kenny) Farley, Kesha (Phillip) Blanks and Lisa Carter all of High Point, NC; sister, Rose H. Beale of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Michael Carter, Christopher Murphy, Trashelle Carter, Chrystal Murphy, Chrispen Murphy, Yvonne Boyce, Janasha, and Dominic; great grandchildren, Michael, Michelle Jane, and Kadience; nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, although not mentioned you were very special to her.
