Marjetta D. Draper, age 51, of High Point went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born in Lexington, on April 25, 1963 to Dora Williams Wright and Herbert F. Wright Jr. She graduated from Lexington Senior High School. Marjetta later graduated from Guilford Technical Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She continued to pursue her education at Davidson County Community College. Marjetta had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping anyone. She touched the lives of many people. Her family was her joy and she loved them dearly. She was a former employee with High Point Housing Authority. Marjetta was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Draper; her daughter, Kenyisha Wright and her mother. She leaves to cherish loving memories to her two sons, Marcus (Queen) Wright and Isaisah Smith all of High Point; her father, Herbert(Josephine) Wright Jr. of High Point; two brothers, Herbert (Reantea)Wright III and Antoine Wright all of Lexington; one sister, Ella (Clifton Johnson) Wright of Winston Salem; honorary grandmother, Ellen Marks; honorary son, Demont Williams, Jr.; three nieces, Stefanie Moore, Shaquan and Ke’Arrye Wright; five nephews Adrian (Reonna) Wright, Danadja Wright, Brandon Wright, Antoine Wright Jr., and Shammond Wright; five great nieces and five great nephews; a host of cousins, other loved ones, and friends.
