Magolia Sharon Brown, age 87, was born on September 20, 1936 to the late Clarence and Hozie Brown, of Trinity, NC. On Saturday, May 27, 2023 God whispered and she quietly answered as she slipped into the Master’s arms where pain no longer exit.
Magolia lived her life in such a way that was loving and kind to everyone she met. Her gracious presence immediately lit up the room and impacted so many people with her joyful smile, beautiful hair, and personality. After retiring from Textile Industry, She loved spending quality time with her friends and family. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, good coffee, soap operas and a cigarette. A discerning woman of exquisite taste, she provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. Never one to meet a stranger, she made sure that all who entered her home felt welcomed and loved. She never complained and is one of the strongest women you would have ever met. She was a faithful and lifelong member of St Mary’s U.M.C. She served the Usher Board, Woman’s Committee and was a Season Saint. Her beautiful soul can never be replaced. We will miss her greatly.
Magolia was proceeded in death by her sisters Norris Brown and Martha Brown, and brothers, Clarence Brown, Francis Brown, Henry Brown, Jerry Brown, and Joseph Brown.
Remaining to honor her life are her two sons, Lavandus Brown and Larry Brown; three grandchildren, Latisha Harris, Shentile Wilson and Quinterius Royal; her siblings Tommy (Kathy) Brown, Venson (late Patti) Brown, and Roland Brown; two great grandchildren, Jamorrious Middleton and Jaslin Wilson; nieces Linda Glover and Yvette Ratliff; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, family and friends.
We will love you and cherish your memory for the rest of our days.
