Mae Julia Monk Jackson was born on November 4, 1938, in McCall, SC to the late George Monk, Sr. and Thelma Ellerbe Monk in McCall, SC. She gained her wings on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.She attended the public schools in Marlboro County, SC. Mae was married to the late James Jackson, Jr. She was a faithful member of First Emmanuel Baptist Church, until her health declined. In addition to her husband, Mae was also preceded in death one daughter, Emma Pearson; one granddaughter, Julia Jackson; two great-grandsons, Antonio Jackson and Demetrius Jr. Pearson; one sister and three brothers; brothers-in-law; and two sons-in-law, Frank Pearson and Walt Pearson Mrs. Mae Julia leaves to cherish loving memories of a life well lived to: her four children, Mary Pearson, James (Julia) Jackson III, Michael Jackson, and Randy Jackson; one brother, John Francis Monk; sisters-in-law, Lucy Faye Monk, Dorothy Monk, and Pearline Monk; fourteen grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
