Louise Woodard

Louise V Woodard age 76, departed this earthly journey on November 5, 2016 at Hospice Home At High Point. She was born on July 9, 1940 in Columbus County, NC to the late James R and Willena Davis Vereen

Louise graduated from Columbus High School in Lake View SC in 1958. Shortly after she moved to Detroit MI where she married the late James Woodard.

She moved to High Point, NC in 1972 and was employed at High Point Regional Hospital where she enjoyed caring for patients during her 25 years of service until her retirement.

Louise received Christ at an early age in Columbus County, NC. After relocating to High Point she became a member of Living Waters Baptist Church, and later became a founding member of Life Changing International Church.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother Charlie Vereen and one sister Myra Dark

Those left to cherish her memories includes three sisters, Ruth Hayes of High Point, NC Magdalene Gilmer, of Winston Salem, NC and Thelma (Charles) McCormick of Rowland, NC; A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and nephews whom she looked at as her children, cousins and other caring relatives and friends.
