Mr. Leon White, III “Lil’ Leon,” transitioned from earth to glory on Thursday, September 17, 2020, after a short stay at Hospice of High Point, NC. He was born May 22, 1992 in High Point, NC to Leon White, Jr. and Linda Moore, both of High Point.
Leon graduated from Southwest Guilford High School in High Point. He worked for various restaurants in the Triad area. Leon was a very funny, vibrant and outgoing young man. He was the “life of the party!” Leon had a witty sarcasm about him and had two favorite phrases; “THAT PART” & “PERIOD POOH!” You could always count on him for two things for certain; one, ensuring a good time and two, hearing him tell you, “I love you,” before leaving his presence. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Leon was preceded in death by one aunt, Remer White.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his parents, Leon White, Jr. and Linda Moore (Rick) all of High Point; paternal grandparents, Leon White, Sr. of South Carolina and Annie White of High Point, NC; maternal grandparents; Brutus Rorie and Carrie McBride both of High Point, NC; Leon had eight siblings, Erica Brown, Brittany Brown, McKenzie Henderson, Lauryn Steele White, Zyreale’ Terry, Malayah Terry, TeKira Moore, and Rick Moore, Jr.; one aunt, Sabrina White; one uncle, Jonathan Boulware (Alana); three nieces, one nephew, and a host of great aunts, cousins and other relatives. Leon also had a godmother, Paris “Michelle” White, one godbrother, Jordan Willis and one god-sister, Jasmine White.
Lil’Leon will truly be missed by his family and friends. We will forever cherish the memories of his life and the love he always extended to others.
