Lee David Bethea

Mr. Lee David Bethea age 79 of High Point, North Carolina, departed this earthly life on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home.  Lee was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina, to the late George Bethea and Frances “Sweetie” Rose Bethea.

Lee relocated to High Point, North Carolina, as a teenager. He worked different jobs but later retired from Braxton Culler. He was a member of Baldwins Chapel SDA Church. 

In addition to his parents, George Bethea and Frances “Sweetie” Rose Bethea, Lee was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Ervin and Mary Alford; five brothers, George Bethea, Jr., Henry Bethea, Edward Bethea, Bejamin Bethea, and Johnny Bethea.

Lee leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters, Elizabeth Dixon and Margaret (Eugene) Jacobs, both of Dillon, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
