Lavandis Caldwell of High Point departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 21st, 2019. He was born on July 6th, 1954 in High Point, NC to Roy Bruton and Mary Parson.
He was proceded in death by his father Roy Bruton and the love of his life, Argie Caldwell of 35 years.
Lavandis was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar each Sunday morning in his vibrant but classy attire. His hobbies included playing pool in his home with family and friends on an heirloom pool table inherited from his father, fishing, and watching his UNC Tarheels and Cincinnati Bengals.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children Latitia Christian, Ulandis (La Kisha) Caldwell, and Octavia (Mark) Caldwell all of High Point, NC; Lavandis Jackson of Alabama; his mother, Mary Parson of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Aryeh Miller, Ayanna Bishop, Amias Bishop, and Vandi Jackson; siblings, Abraham (Kathy) Parson of Texas, Donald (Cynthia) Gill of Fayetteville, Sharon Parson, Cynthia Wilson, Sedalia Davis, Dahlia (Phillip) Middlebrooks, Shavonna "Lynn" Cox all of High Point, NC, Gernaro "DG" Lyles and Stacey Harris both of Salisbury, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
