Kevin "Chucky" Mccoy

Kevin “Chucky” McCoy entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Moses Cone Health Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Beulah Kinsler McCoy and George McCoy.

Chucky, as he was fondly called, was born on December 1, 1974. In his youth, he was a Boy Scout, a member of the Children’s Choir and served as an Acolyte.  During his early educational years, he participated in GAMSEC.  He graduated from T. Wingate Andrews in 1993 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from N.C. A&T State University in 2003.

After graduation, Chucky held several positions.  He was employed with Integrated Management Resources Group and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in Washington, DC.  He was also a Tax Preparer for H&R Block; and recently he was an associate at Kohl’s Department Store.

Chucky was born with Sickle Cell Anemia, which he never complained about but persevered with.  He was fun loving and an avid sports fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, an aunt Flossie Little, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
