Mr. Kevin Bernard Ross age 51, fondly known as “House,” entered eternal rest on Monday, April 1, 2024,
He was born in High Point, NC on October 31, 1972. He was the first-born child to Joe Eddie and Phyllis Ann Strange Ross.
Kevin attended High Point Central High School and later received his GED. He had a natural ability for woodworking. He was a great artist and had a talent for building furniture from wood. Car racing was definitely one of his passions although he did not partake in it personally, he enjoyed watching Street Outlaws on tv. He also enjoyed playing cards in which he usually won and listening and reminiscing to music.
Kevin absolutely adored his family and friends but most of all, he adored his two daughters, Christeannah and Sierra. He cherished the times spent with his family. Kevin had a huge heart with a personality to match. He was known and loved by many. He was a protector. To know him was to know absolute joy and laughter. There was never a dull moment around him. It doesn't matter if you knew you for five minutes or five years; he always stayed real and would immediately make you laugh in seconds. He had a way of making others feel loved and respected. He would do absolutely anything you needed him to do and would find a way to help others no matter what. He gave you his word and followed through despite the circumstances or situation.
Kevin went through a lot in his lifetime but, through it all, he tried his best to stay positive and would make the best out of any position that he was in.
We love you, Kevin! You'll never be forgotten! You’ll forever be missed and loved!!!
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Ann Ross; two grandmothers, Effie G. Strange and Maggie Ross Watkins; uncle, Kenneth Strange.
Kevin leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his father, Joe Eddie Ross of Thomasville, NC; two daughters, Sierra Reed of Asheboro, NC and Christeannah Nesmith of Randleman, NC; one sister, Bonita Ross; one brother, Brian Ross; two uncles, Lee and Keith Strange; two nieces, Tacarra and Tasia Brooks; one nephew, Tyrese Brooks; one great niece, A’Nilah Royal, all of High Point, NC; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and two bonus daughters, Maggie Reed and Laylah Reynolds.
