Today we celebrate the life of Kenny Morrison; a loving son, brother, uncle, and family man.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, James Morrison and his mother, Martha London Morrison as well as brothers, David Morrison, James "Bobo" Morrison, Edward "Hog Head" Morrison, Luther Lee Morrison, and one sister, Minnie Morrison.
He is survived by his two siblings, Martha Covington and Donnie Morrison: a host of nieces and nephews, loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kenny was a kind spirit. He loved his family and gave the biggest hugs to everyone he came in contact with. He was a man of many talents especially in his younger years. Kenny was very gifted in basketball and had a huge love of music with Michael Jackson being his favorite artist. Kenny never met a stranger he made several friends wherever he would go, and he would always help his family and friends in their time of need
Kenny became ill with stage four cancer but he never let that judgment on his life stop him. He was given six months to a year to live. But oh what a mighty God we serve! Kenny was a walking testimony of his own and lived four more years after his diagnosis. Kenny lived a happy and prosperous life and the family was blessed to enjoy those years with him until he was tired. He made peace with the Lord and stated he was ready to go home to the Lord so on Monday, February 17th, 2025. The Lord called his angel home, and he was finally at peace.
