Kenneth Rivera Goss, age 47, was called home after a short illness at Moses Cone Hospital on February 23, 2017. Kenneth is a native of High Point.
He was born March 7, 1969 to Allen and Marilyn Goss. He was the third oldest of four children. Kenneth was affectionately known as” Kenny” or “Curly” to his family. Kenny graduated from T. Wingate Andrews and from GTCC. Kenny was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His hobbies were playing cards like “tunk” and “pitty pat,” watching and playing basketball at Washington Terrace Park. Also, in his spare time, Kenny enjoyed hanging out at the store where he worked occasionally. He was a joyful person who would smile and talk with anyone. He attended Mercy Outreach Church of Deliverance were he enjoyed the word of God, as well as the fellowship of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, fraternal and maternal grandparents.
Kenny leaves behind cherished memories to: the light of his life and inspiration, his daughter, Kendra Goss of High Point, NC; a very proud grandfather of Brian June-Pratt, Zyrek Pratt, Bry’Anna Pratt; two brothers, Vaga Goss, Scottie Reid; two sisters, Alwana Goss and Jamie Horne all of High Point, NC; “uncle Kenny” will also be missed by his nephews and nieces, Janova Mack, Byron Reid Jr., Justice Goss (Kenova), Heaven Goss, Triniti Goss, Sommer Davis, Nautica White, Yuma Arizona, one great nephew, Kayden Goss; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
