Juanita Mccauley

Ms. Juanita McCauley, daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Michael and was born in Wadesboro, NC on September 10, 1939.  She attended and graduated from William Penn public high school in 1958.  She was a hard worker and dedicated to making a life for her and her boys.  Shortly after graduating she went to work at Alma Desk where she worked tirelessly for 25 years.  Juanita was loved by many there and made lifelong friendships.  When Alma Desk closed she worked for 10 years at Royal Development until she retired at the age of 65.  Upon retirement she decided she wanted to pursue her passion for working with children and she furthered her career by becoming certified in Early Childhood Education at GTCC while working at the Sunshine House.

Ms. McCauley belonged to Mt Vernon Baptist Church for more than 20 years, she

was very active in the ministry before she became ill. She was a member of the Senior Usher Ministry starting in the spring of 2007. In November of that year she was elected secretary/treasurer where she served faithfully until late 2017.

She was proceeded in death by her son, William McCauley; her sister, Mary Francis and one nephew, Robbie Michael.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the hearts of her children:

Martin (Sandra) Withers, Barry (Greta) Michael, Stanley (Traci) McCauley and a special daughter Virginia (Neil) McLean all of High Point, NC; one daughter in law, Audrey McCauley of High Point, NC; seven grandchildren, Shemika Withers of Columbia, SC, Jerel (Ariel) Withers of Stockbridge, GA, Stanley McCauley II, Jamal McCauley, Robert McCauley, Savon McCauley and Nicole McLean all of High Point, NC; three great grandchildren, Natalie Withers, Kamryn Withers of Stockbridge, GA and Stanley McCauley III of High Point, NC; a host of family and friends.
